Biography

Mark began his career as a hairdresser under the tutelage of legendary stylist Alan Edwards in Glasgow. By the age of 21 Mark had blossomed into an indispensable stylist.

Mark moved to NYC and worked in uptown salons where the women demanded immaculately chic hair. On his return to the UK Mark had his heart set on entering the highly competitive world of session styling for runway and fashion shoots.

Mark became first assistant to top session and runway stylist Sam McKnight. They worked together on shoots and advertising campaigns for British and Italian Vogue and also worked for the world's biggest designers each season in Paris, Milan, New York and London.

Mark then met Guido Palau, another very well known runway stylist. Between them they worked extensively for designers like Alexander McQueen, Givenchy Couture, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Vivienne Westwood, Alberta Ferretti, Max Mara, Chloe, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Versace and Stella McCartney.

Mark still works with a select few celebrity clients and has chosen to dedicate his energy and creativity to private clients. Working from his beautiful front room in his Dulwich home gives Mark the time and privacy to give each person a bespoke, personal and luxury service that makes him so popular with his celebrity clients.
